The Skyvan G-PIGY was hanging about over Cheltenham most of the morning /early afternoon with various Aircraft in tow, I figured the Pakistan AF C130 but also two F16? -Polish? about 12 30, then 3 jets in tow early PM =any confirmation on what these were? oh fudge stuck at Work :-(

The 3 jets early afternoon were Swedish SAAB Gripens. One of which had a thorough weapons load set out. I think this was even the display plane but not sure as I left RIAT around 6pm today & they had a rehearsal/validation due at 6.30pm. Maybe someone can confirm if that was the case.

I've seen elsewhere also that Mig-29s are delayed 24hrs. Seemed a bit strange as I thought they were with the F-16s.

Didn't arrive with the Polish F16s

Yeah I know sorry should have made that clearer - I meant that I saw that they had comms with the Mig-29s so presumed that they would come in with/just before the F-16s as scheduled, but alas not. Roll on tomorrow.

The Swedish Gripen that did the Rehearsal/Validation display at around 6.30pm didn't have a weapons loadout.

2xPolish Mig-29s Arrival

3xMirage Arrival

Hunter Arrival

That's all of what I can see so far, apparently the majority of the RAF stuff is due in the afternoon. As we know all subject to change etc.

For some reason one of the single seaters arrived tooled up, the weapons were removed as soon as it was parked up, and was being transferred onto the twin stick when i left last night.

Currently Polish MIG29's 54 and 108 are at Leeuwarden for RIAT later today. Support is C295 017. Not sure the Casa will follow the MIG's to Fairford or will return to Poland.

Seven,when you say weapons tooled up on the Gripen I'm assuming these where inert weapons I.e not "live" and ready to go as it were .

Yes it's still here Max. Covers came off the engines a short time ago

JASDF 767 confirmed landed, Turk KC-135 did take covers off and fired up about an hour ago but has since turned engines off again.
