Is FRIAT worth it?

Post by RIAT_fan » Wed Apr 27, 2016 7:10 am

Hi, as you can probably tell by my username, i am a massive fan of RIAT.I was looking at different tickets to buy, and saw that FRIAT was at these prices:
Mach 1: £160
Mach 2: £190
Mach 3: £210

I usually camp over for the air tattoo, and bring my camera (Nikon D70*) so i could probably attend all days.
* I know it's a small DSLR, but it does the job.
So what do you guys think? Is it worth it?

I've done FRIAT since the ill-fated 2008 (Mach 2 - 2008-2013, Mach 3 - 2014+) and I wouldn't go back to a general ticket. Mach 1 always seem little over priced especially now it's a three day show but always sells out so people want those ticket

Having been to every IAT since 1977 and a member of F(R)IAT since 1983 (the Phantom year) it is worth it. You have the advantage of the centre line stand, the big tent to shelter from the sun/rain (delete as necessary) and access to the maddest/most knowledgeable group of enthusiasts who always have a great time.

Thanks - Will probably go for mach 2, which seems to be the best offer.
