Sunday tour location suggestion for good view.

Post by Richard B » Sun Oct 11, 2015 10:46 am

Any local knowledge of areas she will fly today worth posting here.
local to me would be Wellsbourne, another good spot after Wellsbourne is Chessington mill just off the fosse way.
This is on a hill looking down over much of warwickshire, notice she will fly through this after wellsbourne..
so a good vantage point for that low level shot.
Another view of the whittle island at Lutterworth could be a overflight.

How likely is it that the flight route will be exactly as the black line shows?

I will be near the route between old sarum and bristol airport. I don't know want to get stuck in traffic at the official vantage points.

Yes, I can confirm BOTH a change of route & timing but otherwise OK.

Were you successful today, did you do Wellsbourne? Nice low flypast and orbit around the field.Much better than the beat up pass at Cosford on Saturday.

Mine was a toss up between Brunty and Wellsbourne. The later winning as I'm on nights and needing to get back home asap.
I've been lucky enough to see The vulcan quite a number of times this year around the country and you know it's still not enough,I'm going to miss seeing it flying.
I wish we could have a Groundhog day......
