Hi all,
A long shot but I wonder if anyone here has a list of the aircraft in the flypasts over central Delhi. It was a crappy foggy day but they still flew. The downside was that I couldn’t read anything off from my hotel room!
There were:
4 x Mi17 (carrying banners)
3 x Dhruv (Army, camo)
3 x Mi35 (grey)
3 x C-130J (grey)
1 x C17 and 2 x Su30MKI
1 x P-8I and 2 x Mig-29K (grey)
5 x Jaguar IS (grey)
2 x Su-30MKI
1 x Su-30MKI (singleton)
At IGI airport there were two C-17s on the far side yesterday. Too far to read off. Also on the "special Ops" ramp were the usuals - 2 x 707 (one wfu), Gulf stream G100, Gulstream G5, Mi-8, AN-32, K3012 IL-76 plus one in the hangar and BD700 GB8002.
Any contributions welcomed. Thanks.
M

Have a look at Scramble. They have got virtually all of the flypast. No mention of the airport, though

Morning mate!
Thanks for this. I really appreciate it. By the way, the Mi17s were at Safdarjung. I was at the DGCA office when I saw them depart:(. I am back in the UK now but getting ready for Aero India in Bangalore in 2 weeks.
All the best.
