C-130`S Off Tay estuary

Post by Condor68 » Fri Sep 14, 2018 5:51 pm

On Sunday 9/9 what looked like a Hercules C-4 and a C5 were operating in the Bell Rock area off the coast at Arbroath. Is it safe to assume it was the pair that have been operating from Leuchars .I only ask because one of them headed south during the week don't know if it came back. cheers Keith

Yeah Paul been keeping an eye on them when out with dog and on adsb then lost them.Saw ZORRO 1 heading south early in week but lost ZORRO 2 .They appear to have been exercising with a support ship just of the coast from where I live.A C-130 dropped into Leuchars approach yesterday afternoon. Sadly didn't see any of the Helicopters that were exercising.Saw lights on ranges one night and thought I heard a chinook but didn't see it. Thanks anyway cheers Keithj
