with fantastic weather, trooping of the colour and various displays this weekend whilst spoiling a good walk this afternoon playing golf post 15.30 have been disturbed by the following.
16.00 ish solo Spitfire heading east towards CGY probably clipped wing. Flying North to South hour later, Lockheed /Beech twin star, natural metal finish,US Army Air Corps markings
finally 19.15 ish solo Hawk heading east, FL100 probably for let down at Scampton. An Eclectic crop on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Any clues to identities or had I had one over the eight at the nineteenth?
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

I was at Cosford so didn't see it myself but your Beech would be on its way back to Leicester having been up at Breighton in Yorkshire for the day.
I'll try and find the reg from someone who was there.
Cheers

It was nice and low, looked in very good condition, would have skirted Tollerton and EMA CTZ.

G-BKGL for your Beech.

Imagine your clipped wing Spitfire was TE311, EP120 wasn't flying and MV268 was on the ground at Cosford.
