US Navy 168587?

Post by First1 » Wed Apr 11, 2018 8:35 pm

Hi,

A US Navy Sikorsky MH-60 Knighthawk overflew Exeter today.

I believe this was 168587, but can find very little info on this airframe. Any assistance please?

Many thanks in advance.

Scramble database records this as being an MH-60S coded AM-04 of HSC-22 in March 2017...........but I suspect that may be where the serial came from?
Cheers, Bob

The USS Ross and USNS William Mclean are currently operating in the Channel taking part in OST out of Plymouth I believe. Its most probably off one of these ships so hopefully, someone may confirm for you if it is observed on one of them while around/close to Plymouth. Possibly will be involved with JW later in the month.

Hi,
Photographed USS Ross leaving Plymouth last week hangar door closed unfortunately. So no sign of a MH-60.
