According to https://bzzspotters.blogspot.co.uk/sear ... inate=true ZH889 was the only C-130 flying.

Was it flying quite high at 20,000 plus ft?

My FlightAware ADS-B in Warwickshire didn't pick any RAF C-130s that day.

ZH889 landed at Brize at 19:30 and came in from SE from over France according to this post . RRR5731 seems to be a regular flight from a warmer climate area .

Checked the rest of the site but can't find any mention of a C-130 on that day over the UK . There was the C-160 Transall ( 51+06 ) that departed Brize at around 1pm according to the Brize Log but not sure which way it went when it left , and it's only got 2 engines .

Hi Raptor22,

I see that you asked this question on the day and didn't get an answer.

RCH169 96-7323 Hex ADFEA3 FL24.0 approaching Le Touquet
RCH677 96-1006 Hex ADFEA9 FL20.0 Just west of Compiegne.
Did either of these fly over wellingborough around 13.00 hours thanks raptor22
Both of these would have flown over Wellingborough.

Judging by the positions reported at 12.09, I would think that it was probably the 2nd one that you saw - 96-1006, which went on to Prestwick.

Cheers,

Bob
