At about 13.50 local time on Thursday 11th May a formation of three chinooks leading a lone merlin passed eastbound just to the north of Bristol. About 15 minutes later 1 lone Apache followed in the same direction.
Anyone have an ID for these?
Thanks,
David.

Re: 11th May Helicopter formation eastbound over Bristol
Apache was ZJ198
One of the Chinooks was ZA705
Also Wildcat same routing & operation over Caerwent as Apache was ZZ527
Hope that helps.

Update: passing north Bristol 17:10
Wildcat ZZ389
Chinook ZA677
Wildcat ZZ527 & Apache ZJ198 playing again.
Pattern seems to be operation over Caerwent, refuel at Keevil and return.
