Hi,
Bit of a long shot but can anyone please help identify a large transport aircraft ott Lincoln this morning travelling in a north westerly direction at approximately 11.30 hours. Seen from my garden in Grantham trailing behind an Aer Lingus A320.214 at 36,000 ft but unable to make it out clearly but appeared to have a high tail unit. Checked flightradar 24 to see if was civil but nothing showing apart from the Aer Lingus A320-214.

FR24 does not display military aircraft generally, filtered out.

Does show many/most and a filter can be set to show military only.

Re: LARGE TRANSPORT OTT LINCOLN 14.12.16
Hi martmpf, Did appreciate that FR.24 does not usually show military aircraft but just wanted to confirm that the aircraft was not a civil cargo aircraft because of where it was and the fact I couldn't quite make it out even with the telescope but many thanks for pointing me in the right direction to global adsbexchange it's very much appreciated.
Thanks again for your help
