USAF C130 OTT RAF Coningsby - 11/12

Post by Flyingmonster » Fri Dec 12, 2014 12:45 pm

While at Coningsby yesterday this USAF C130 buzzed across the airfield from the South in a diving turn to a more Westerly heading around 1437 - does anyone have an ID at all?

Unfortunately no one heard anything on the scanners - please excuse the shot I managed to garb it as it appeared between two clouds.

EC-130J I think Jamie, so I guess the one that's at Mildenhall on TDY.

Could be wrong though - that little sensor with the orange dot on the rear of the sponson is what I'm going by.

Thanks for that Ben! Looks like EC-130J 96-8153 was out and about from Mildenhall so makes sense!

Appreciated dude! :thumb:

But wouldn't an EC-130J have pods on the tail fin and under the outer wings?
