VP981 DH-104 Devon

Post by Alfie » Mon Aug 15, 2016 1:22 pm

Idling my time away with daytime TV an episode of the Royal just came on and proudly in the opening sequences was VP981 DH-104. Can anybody tell me the where abouts of this aircraft and is it still flying?

Seems to still be flying as G-DHDV, somewhere in the southeast I seem to recall?

A quick look at G-INFO yielded the following information:-

- It became G-DHDV.
- Was originally (from 26/10/1998) registered to Air Atlantique Ltd at Baginton - until 19/04/2016 when ownership changed to the current owner (Keith Michael Perkins of Yalding, nr Maidstone).
- It is currently operated by Weald Air Services Ltd at Headcorn.
- It has an exemption certicate allowing it to display its former RAF serial.

Hope that helps,

Bob

Picture taken at 'Airbase' Coventry Airport in May 2015, arriving for the day's aviation event. Showing RAF livery and serial (VP981) seemingly in very good condition too.
