Duxford Museum.

Post by John flightpath » Fri Apr 29, 2016 7:19 pm

On Sunday I am taking my wife to Duxford. She is interested in anything to do with WW2. I am interested in the Aircraft exhibits and its been 30+ years since I was last there. My question is, roughly, how many a/c are in the museum. Just as a guide.

Your input would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Not sure when this was last updated Duxford residents Checklist

And if you are going Sunday Spring Car Show 2016 and the Blenheim & Catalina are due to fly Sunday for the Abingdon show but have no times for departure or return.

Read off over 150 when I went last month. So plenty to have a look at. Have a great day.

Well, that was a decent day out apart from the great food rip off. lol. Bought 2 x1 year passes as we intend returning at least twice in the next 12 months. I don't what can be considered the norm for weekend flying activities but today was pretty active, with the Catalina returning from a display today ( no sign of the Blenheim while we were there.) Weather was good. Might have a flight on the Rapide at some point.

Thanks everyone again for the pre visit info.

I went into one of the food places once and the staff were all wearing the IWM 'Blimey' T shirt, and the little old lady in front of me in the queue said you're right about Blimey, blimey these prices are expensive!
