Re: FAF Alphas
Is there any update on this detachment? I ask because I was planning heading over today after reading this but, late Sunday evening there was a post that said it their arrival had been put back to Wednesday. So I was now thinking of Wednesday or Thursday but, then sometime yesterday that post seems to have been deleted. Not sure what's happening now. Are they already here?

Nice to see these in the area. Have seen them previously on the Mach Loop and coming in low North of Bala lake.

Thanks for those.
Paid a visit last Fri and following alpha movements noted:
3x Alphas departed on 13 at 0806L en route to Lossie including 705-RR & 705-RY c/sign ??
705-LP overshoot 13 and landed back 1125L c/sign ??
705-RY recovered via SRA (talkdown) 13 1305L c/sign "??sounded like Fenner?? 60"
705-LA & 705-RR recovered as pair 1315L c/sign "??sounded like Riches?? Tango"
-RY, -LA & -RR taxied to (former) Seahawk apron and were hangared between 1425-1440 in hangar closest to the green "rub" hangar (across from 22/SARTU hangar) - obviously around for a few days this week as weekend stopped.
-LP departed with ZK022 as "Sunburst" at 1533L after former was parked on VAS since arriving back earlier.
the only other thing of note (to some!) was an overshoot by Leuchars typhoon (6 sqn) ZK345/EP after an ILS (didnt appear to be a talkdown) on 13
anyone who can fill in the alpha callsigns please?? just cant make them out. I notice all had some nice unit badges on the fins, very colourful - will try and post on here in due course.
HTH
Cheers

If it hasn't gone, there is also a CN.235 in - 197/62-HE (c/s CTM2085) according to PP - which arrived during the late afternoon after a visit to East Anglia.
