I'm not bothered which guide visitors to Valley use - both are fantastic but can I just say that the last time I was there all the Hawks were red and white and the newest one was XX250.

The 1978 airshow I think !

As there is likely to be an increase in visitors to Valley to see the Finnish aircraft, could I implore people not to block the crash gate or access road near fraggle rock. This crash gate is important to flight safety at EGOV, please challenge individuals who park up at the gate or obstruct the road leading up to it; age, infirmity,'I've parked there before' or inability to find another parking spot do not count as a reasonable excuse!

Hope any visitors have a great week.

Hi all, I might head up on Monday as the weather looks a bit better at Valley than it will be on the hillside. Can anyone let me know what the parking situation is at the 31 end as I'm thinking that that will probably be the runway in use. Thanks

Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me if the radio frequencies in this guide are up to date, hoping to visit next week.
Cheers

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Make sure you bring windproof clothing and depending on which runway will be in use waterproof trousers as most of the area around 31 end (nearest end to Rhosneigr and the golf club) could still be between ankle up to waist depth under water after the recent storms.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Thanks for the heads up Red Dragon, here's hoping it's drained a tad before next week.

UPDATE: I've just had a message from some of the guys who are there waiting/ hoping for a few of the Reds to arrive (due in for Sims training) seems the 31 end of the runway is now drained and ok to park your car on. However it is still very cold there I'm told.
