We're having a week up in Carnaerfon and of course want to have a day or a couple days spotting at Valley, does anyone know if there are any days in particular that are busier than others there please?

If you can visit there this week, a detachment of Tucano’s are still there until Friday (insert caveat “unless plans change”) best time to visit is any time (9-5) on Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday. Monday and Friday tend to be half days only unless catching up with flights due to bad weather etc.

Also keep in mind that there are occasional days off flying for Admin/ Maintenance etc dates if which are usually not announced. The night flying is usually announced a week or so in advance on their website and FB Page.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Thanks ever so much Red Dragon, much appreciated. We have the week commencing Sat 22nd, so hopefully there will be daytime flying and maybe some visitors during that week.

No problem, if in any doubt, pop into the portacabin in spotters car park and one of the guys there (more than likely Davey or Ian) will answer any questions you might have about where to set yourself up for the day.
