Post by TombsRIP » Sun Jul 22, 2018 5:11 pm

No sign of one taking part in 100th Ann flypast very recently nor one at Fairford on static.

General consensus is that it’ll be “late 2018” for possible check flights etc but first trainee courses would be early 2019.

Yesterday 1 x T-6 was out for tractor pulley ground taxi training for the maintenance personnel.

Currently the syllabus is being prepared, so late 2018 would seem to be feasible?
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Thanks very much for info/update. (Diolch!)

PS at least you've had at least one F-35 through on practice approaches etc more than at Warton to date...
