Hawks flying in spite of rwy closure?

Post by Richard de Florennes » Mon Jul 17, 2017 12:24 pm

Hello, coming from Europe to Wales after Fairford first time, can anybody inform me if the based Hawks can be expected flying regularly in spite of current closure of the longer runway?
Thanks for any hint!

Yesterday afternoon 15 different Hawk.2 flying. Today only 8 so far due to thunderstorms in the area?
Three Royal Army Apaches flying missions from here p.m. plus two Griffins, plus ZR283 flying plus one Tucano visiting overnight and two Hawk T.1 visiting today.
Simply stunning!!!
Thanks for the info given above!
