Hi all, going through old logs and still after all these years got lots of gaps, so you may see several posts on here by me in the coming weeks. Already posted one about a Box 16 of Jaguars with no luck so far; well heres another.
This Flypast was witnessed over Ipswich and at the time the air spares (1x Tornado GR4 and 1x Jaguar) were flying alongside prior to pealing off before reaching London. The Tornado returned in the opposite direction fast and low some 15 - 20 minutes later. Anyway these were the aircraft, would be great to be able to identify them. Formation was as follows:
1. C.17 Globemaster
2. Tornado GR4 - Tristar - Tornado GR4 - (Tornado GR4 air spare)
3. Tornado F3 - E.3 Sentry - Tornado F3
4. Jaguar - VC.10 - Jaguar - (Jaguar air spare)
5. Canberra - Nimrod - Canberra
6. HS.125 - HS.146 - HS.125
7. Typhoon
8. Concorde leading The Red Arrows (9x Hawks)
I did photograph them all too but they were with old 35mm camera and are mainly silhouettes, the Concorde with The Red Arrows shots are something I will treasure forever!.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

No personal record of this but have searched the Mil-Spotters-Forum archive and found this. Credit to Roger Smith who compiled this "final" listing from various sources. Any errors please don't shoot the messenger
Hope this helps

Re: Golden Jubilee Flypast 04.06.2002
Hi Ian, thats great thankyou, and thanks for looking and finding for me. I was unsure where to search for this information; is the same place a good source to search for general odd days of spotting or is this more geared to airshows and flypasts etc?
Cheers .... Ian.
Cheers .... Ian.
