Anyone have the serials of the b52s at Marham for the 1970,1971,1972,1976 and 1977 bombing comp.
I also logged b52ds 55-0071,55-0080 and 56-0964 I believe at Marham but when?

I logged all three at Marham on 12/05/1980. Bombing competition?

Can't help on the earlier ones, I'm afraid. No doubt Mr. Luxton can.

rh226 - I logged the ones as per your report 12.05.1980 on the 27.04.1980 under the heading Exercise "Open Gate" but I do have one as 60694 not 60964

just checked BARG for those to make sure I have them down correctly and yes they were a Busy Brewer det, but they BARG also have it as the Exercise "Open Gate"

1976 - 76505 2BW, 80181 92BW, 80207 97BW and 92589 320BW.
1977 - 00015 410BW, 00025 449BW, 00030 5BW and 00054 319BW.

As for those D's in 1980 they were a `Busy Brewer` type deployment 23April to 19 May. 56-0964 was 56-0694. All 3 were 22BW.

Pre competition visits to Marham were conducted by all 4 Bomb Wings for the 1970 event as follows :
57-6469 2BW and 58-0158 320BW in late Feb
60-0037 379BW and 61-0016 319BW in early Mar

The same a/c returned for the competition in Apr with the exception of 57-6469 which was replaced by 59-2583.
