Hi

It may be mere coincidence but I note that the British Aviation Review magazine for October 1986 reports that Heer CH-53G 84+46 paid a visit to Alconbury on the 5th September. The relevant section reads thus...

<snip>
5 (September)
90365 ZR g/w RF-4C 26thTRW
90372 ZR g/w RF-4C 26thTRW

XZ968 01 Harrier GR.3 1 Sqdn
XX222 Hawk T.1A 1 TWU/79 Sq

The aircraft on 5,9 were present for the annual Battle of Britain reunion. CH-53G
84+46 eventually departed to YeovIlton on 8.9."
<snip>

There's no callsign data in the mag, so make of it what you will.

Best wishes
