Hi,
Can anyone please help identify the Vulcan that was put on display on the eastern side of the airfield near the rifle range at RAF Scampton following the disbandment of the based Vulcan Wing. If I remember correctly the tailplane was adorned with all the badges of the squadrons based at Scampton at the time. Furthermore can anyone please help with the date it was placed there, date finally removed and final fate. Finally does anyone have a photograph of this particular Vulcan they can share please.
Thanks in anticipation
