REQUEST LOG for FINNINGLEY BoB Show 1965

My first airshow attendance was the BoB Show on 18/9/65 at RAF Finningley. I am looking to build a log for the show. I have some very poor notes - my writing as a kid was not that great! If anyone can help that would be VERY much appreciated.

The 1965 log is available on the Air Yorkshire website in the magazine archive as mentioned above. A really useful resource.

And of course the archive holds magazines which contain show logs for all the Yorkshire air shows (and a few beyond) right through from then to almost the current day (eg. Finningley, Leeming, Church Fenton, Topcliffe, Leconfield etc). I have a particular interest in promoting this archive firstly as an Air Yorkshire member but I did spend quite a bit of time scanning many years worth of magazines to create the resource. So its nice to know people are using it.

Thanks for the kind words. I was one of a number of members who did the scanning so can't claim more than just doing my share. I'm sure the rest of the team will appreciate the thanks though and be glad to know the archive is being accessed.

It did probably take longer than it might for me to scan some of the ones I did especially the mid 70's to the late 80's. I kept stopping to read the magazines and recalling 'Ah yes I saw that...' 'I went to that show...' 'I was there for that etc...' I'm a sucker for nostalgia......
