I wonder if this could be N2289 C-45J ex BuAer39928, built as SNB-1 c/n3660, later converted to SNB-5 then UC-45J. I note there is a photo of a C-45 in the weeds at Cochise College. (usdemobbed.org.uk) (photo credits to Mike Bursell).
However N2289 noted at Cochise College April'89 (Geoff Goodall) as "civil color scheme good condition".
Comments Gentlemen? One for Air Britain perhaps?

Thanks JJ. Problem is we saw the one you mention AS WELL as my queried one. I have pics of both. Am I allowed to post them here, or can I email them to you?

Post them . If you have photos of any of your enquiries then post them , at least it gives us a bit more info . I think you'll find it will be okay as it is in context with the enquiry .

I've seen a picture of N2289 at Cochise in 1991 so no way of thinking it was USCG I would think . Full divvy scheme . Actually the picture was taken by a John Sullivan , ever heard of him Barthie ??

Can't see the pic. Maybe someone on site told us it was USCG. Sorry, but must go to bed now!
