Middle Wallop Air Show, 1998

Post by Kevin Brewer » Wed Jan 20, 2016 5:32 pm

Can anyone help me with a list of the flying display participants for Sunday 14th June please?

I've checked BAR / MAR and Scramble but all their reports are for the Friday and Saturday.

Kevin,

Not a lot as such as I was working on the middle floor of the Tower - but I have the following 'extras' noted on Sunday:

XX165 Hawk T.1 4 FTS
TF956 Sea Fury FB.11 RNHF
ZF540 Lynx AH.7 D&TS
An unidentified Jet Provost T.5A of RAFC
XW231 "CM" Puma HC.1 33 Squadron

I have most of the flying choppers of the mass approach, but not the Sea King, Puma, Chinooks or the F3.
Any good?

Torncat

I arrived after the mass approach (But saw and logged it the day before!). It's mainly the flying-only stuff I'm looking for. Thanks very much anyway!

Noting the above. I only have access to the Scramble online list and not BAR/MAR. Does anyone have the serials of the other non-AAC participants in the massed approach. 4x Chinook, Sea King etc.
