Post by Everett1285 » Thu Sep 06, 2018 5:04 pm

Hi,
Appreciate it might be bit of a tall order but can anyone please help with a full list of aircraft used by the following squadrons during the period 1969 -1976:-

98 Squadron Canberra E.15/B.2/T.4

115 Squadron Argosy E.1

230 OCU Canberra B.2/T.4

Any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks Steve as always your efforts are very much appreciated. I would also very much appreciate a copy of the individual histories if it not to much trouble.

I'll be back in the UK in about a month's time and will have a ferret through mags and books from the time - pretty sure I'll be able to turn up some info here and there re. those units.

Cheers,
M

Hi Steve,
Brilliant, thanks very much it's appreciated and yes your assumption is right there's a big difference between a Vulcan and a Canberra to many 'senior moments' these days unfortunately and I can't even say it's a slip on the keyboard. Thanks again for your help it's very much appreciated.

Colin

231 OCU: WE192, WT482, WT483, WE192, WT488/Y = Canberra T.4s

Now some ‘away day’ participants at various UK shows:

You'll have spotted the deliberate error  The serial in the very last entry should be XN819, XB819 being a Sabre 4.
