Hi all.

I know lots of you on here record serial numbers. I’m more of a photos man myself. Just curious how you guys record record serials. What books you use ect?

There are several computer database programs - all have their strengths and weaknesses. Some are free, some £100+ per year. Non of them do exactly what I want.

You can still get serial books where you underline what you've seen. However there was a time when the devils book (EW&R) was a pamphlet, and you needed to carry about a Euromil, US Mil and World mil for the active stuff. Nowadays the devils books are bigger than the Bible, and most countries active air arms can be printed on half a sheet of A4.
