Hi everyone, stupid question time..
Some aircraft for example Typhoons etc have an aircrew name painted on 1 side, I assume that it is the pilot who has that aircraft allocated to him.So can anybody else fly it, or is it strictly 1 person, 1 aircraft ????
I ddid warn you it was stupid☺
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: Painted names on aircraft
Interesting question, I noticed a few myself and wondered what the etiquette might be within a squadron. Maybe someone here can shed some light?

It certainly can be flown by any member of the squadron, not just the named pilot.
