Glossary of Acronyms and Abbreviations
Glossary of Acronyms and Abbreviations
Hi,
I have had a quick look around to see if there is a glossary for those of us struggling to get up and running with the vast amounts of acronyms and abbreviations you guys use. Terms used for particular kinds of flights or abbreviations for parts of the airfield!
I worked on the railway, and that is an industry with a millions technical and 'jargonist' terms, but feel it is the same here too.
I have worked out some of the easy ones like AARA - Air to Air Refueling Area - right!? LFA - Low Fly Area? But what is a HAS?
Is there such a glossary? I don't want to be asking a question each time I see one! Would someone who is dedicated be able to create one?
Anyways, I should go back to work! Any help appreciated!
J

Skybrary will likely have most of them.
I did start one a long time ago, but never really had the time to run it.
