There will be a Forward Air Control Exercise at Hay on Wye on the 25th, February,2014 from 12.00pm to 22.00pm Jaeger Control on 267.500 & 292.150 Multiple Jets in.
This will move to Clee Hill on the 26th, The 27th, Ledbury, 28th, Pontrilas. see last entry dated 26.2.2014

Lossie 58 just split from Fagin 31 (tanker) enroute to Clee Hill via Shawbury (?)

Always like an excuse to return to Shropshire. An F.A.C. Exercise "Fast Mover" with multiple fast jets will be involved with in 5 nautical miles of Clee Hill 522340N 0023353W on Wednesday the 14th August, 2013 SFC to 24,000 feet under Hatchet Control 242.250. or 252.000. 09.00 to 23.00hrs.

Any ideas what date the exercise is at Hay on Wye?

FAC = Fast Mover at Hay on Wye Powys, 13th, August, 2013 14.00 to 23.00 same freqs as Clee Hill FAC Ex on the 14/8/13.

Drew a complete blank on the last two of these at Clee Hill, although have had a good watch at Eastnor Castle in the past especially when they described our parked car as one of the visual references for the run in to the target !!

FAC Exercise Fast Mover moves on to Eastnor Castle on the 15th, August, 2013 same freqs as Clee Hill and Hay on Wye times 9am through to 23.00. perhaps if you describe the make and colour of your vehicle A GR4 crew could do a bit of painting.

Following on from The FACs at Hay on Wye and Clee Hill There will be another FAC Ex at Eastnor Castle Ledbury, Herefordshire on the 27th again multiple F/Js under the control of Jaeger again on 267.500 or 292.15.

On the 28th, February yet another FAC at Pontrilas 2 FJs and 1 AH64 from 8am to 3pm Sabre 267.500 or 292.15 info sourced from published Notams

Notam H/2461 covers both Clee Hill and Eastnor Castle. There will be a FAC Exercise on the 24th, June,2015 from 09.00 to 21.30hrs BST Up to 12 Fast Jets will be operating bet Lee Hill and Eastnor Castle Crews wishing to transit the area should contact Hatchet Control on 242.250 or Jaeger on 292.250. Aircraft will be operating
between 2000 feet or below.

I believe Clee Hill is today, Eastnor Castle is tomorrow (Thursday) and HoW is Friday. I cycled a 36 mile round trip out to EC today to see some of it and then found out on a different notam page it was the wrong day! No matter, was a nice ride.

h 5934/16 refers to an FAC Exercise at Titterstone Clee Hill between 09.30AM.BST & 18.00.BST on Wednesday the 21st, September 2016 under
Hatchet Control 267.725. 318.025 Multiple Fast Jets. One day later the 22/9/16 the FAC moves onto Ledbury H 5941/16 again Hatchet Control
Same Freqs 267.725. 318.025. Between 09.30am BST & 18.00 BST on the 22/9/16. This gives me a chance to visit my old Boarding School at Munslow.

Anybody notice what took part in the Eastnor Ex?

Seen some nice activity the last couple of years, but had to work this year.

Heard a few things to the west of Worcester last week,think they were Tornados.

Notammed for the 24th, March, 2017 is a Forward Air Control Exercise in the vicinity of Eastnor Herfordshire HO 933/17 from 9.00am to 13.30pm Multiple Fast Jet
under the control of Hatchet Control 308.025 Prim 266.700 Sec 370.650.

The previous day there is an FAC Ex at Clee Hill 09.00am to 18.00pm same freq apply

Don't forget 22nd March for Little Hill, Herefordshire.
