Reaper Squadron - 1/32 F-15C Eagle

Post by jamesv9820 » Mon May 29, 2017 10:40 pm

Been a long while since I have posted anywhere other than Facebook (for various reasons). Been working on this one for a short while now and is completed with an Aires Cockpit (with true details resin seat - I never get on with photo etch belts), Astra Decal sheet, Aim-9X's robbed from the Academy F-16I Sufa kit. Paints from MRP (Superb!) and Gunze Aquarius.Really happy with the weathering on this one, applying this to a matt coat and using Mig-Ammo panel line wash, blended in with white spirit certainly did the trick.

Photos were difficult to take; I think the sheer size of the eagle is difficult to represent, however you will see a few photos below showing the overlap of the white paper background. Saying that I do need to revisit the photos and sort out some silvering on some of the decals.

Anyways, enjoy!

That is Stunning. Burner cans particularly effective, as is the 'pit. Must be quite an imposing build in that scale! Kudos. :thumb: :thumb:

That is very nice James - great work!
