How's this going? Time is ticking away!

(I'm resigned to the fact that I've dropped out, but it would be great to see as many finished kits as possible! :thumb: )

Almost ready for paint, and has been for weeks now

Needless to say, it won't make the deadline. Other projects keep taking priority over this one unfortunately, mixed in with a little loss in mojo and a couple bouts of illness :( Once I've got some review builds out of the way I'll get her back on the bench- she will get done

Re: 1/48 FAA Avenger - Updated and Finished

Post by Phill318 » Fri Dec 31, 2010 7:36 pm

I've been so lazy with updating this thread. Anyway here is the final update with the finished model in the finished section.
Filling and sanding didn't take too long as the kit was a great fit, the only problem being round the nose and the front windscreen.
Here she is masked and ready for paint

and then with a pre-shade

and after

That's about all really. Not the best thread in the world but I seem to get carried away when I get in the mood
More photos in the Finished Section

Thanks for looking

How on earth do you have the patience to do that?! :O Excellent build, looks great too, if not a little bit too clean for a Pope A-10!
