1/32 Hunter T8M WIP

Post by jamesv9820 » Mon Jul 06, 2015 10:51 pm

After a bit of a hiatus from modelling for a few months I decided to try something a bit different from the norm. I have had the kit for a number of years and after the Phantom was built for AMW, I decided to have a bit of a break and build something for me.

The conversion itself seemed pretty daunting but after dry fitting, sanding, more dry fitting and even more sanding/dry fitting the cockpit and seats slotted in.

a bit of blending was required to join the conversion to the donor kit, and minor re-scribing was required.

I do intend to add blanking plates as I made a bit of a hash of the intakes, weapons and pylons need to be added and the front vac-formed windscreen needs to be sorted out. other than that I think it is there...

The conversion is made by Fisher Pattern in the states. First rate resin and easy ish to build. I still have their T7 to build too but have to complete this first. More to follow as and when.
