Brampton Model Show 2012

Post by FTS » Sun Sep 30, 2012 8:17 pm

Here is a selection of the many, many shots that I took this afternoon. I was blown away by the quality of the builds on show. Trying to pick a selection of my favourites has been no easy task.

Some lovely kits there. Like the Lanc over the railway lines, very well thought out.

There were, not many I must add though. I'll check through my shots and see if i've got any shots of them. The Puma was made by one of my neighbours from a few doors up. He made it for an old colleague of mine who was his boss when he was working at Marham, who flew the Puma in question in Northern Ireland. The camera is scratch built. He also made the UN dio. I'm going to be hounding him constantly now that I know he's a modeller. He's also an award winning gardener, which I also like to dabble in :lol: My new best friend!

There's a few 1/72 builds in my 'table' shots but no 1/48 ones suprisingly.

This is all I have of it;

I've noted that the nose on the F3 is the wrong colour :lol: I'm building the same aircraft atm and all of the references that i've come across have it as a dark grey like normal.

By chance I don`t suppose you have a picture of the table further along to the left of this shot have you? Looks like some interesting stuff on there.
