Evening all,

Name's Tom, 20, from Wrexham. Been doing models most of my life, so much so that I am a contributor to Scale Aircraft Modelling.
I will from time to time do some WIP's on here, as my stash is slowly spiralling out of control and I NEED to wind it down quickly!

Cheers,

Tom

Welcome Alex,
You might think your models wont cut the mustard here but we all had to start somewhere. If you want to improve, get your builds up for comments and see what advise you get! Most importantly, listen to what people say and give yourself a target! Im sure/hope people can see the improvement in my builds over the last couple of years and i am constantly setting new targets!

Have fun!
Geoff.

Hi everyone.

I have been looking here for awhile at all the posts and models. And, wow. They look stunning. I recently got an Italeri F-4G Wild Weasell 1/72, Hasegawa F-16C 1/72 and Hasegawa F-4G Wild Weasel 1/48 models. Been many years since built any models. Think, last 1 was F-117, about 1994!!. Now got bit time on my hands, im going to get glue, paints etc to crack on with these. Will be using brush as never ever used air-brushing. Will post up first build as soon as done. Im going to leave the 1/48 Weasel till last as thats my fav, and hope get few hints and tips and try to do weathering on her.

Rob

Oooh nice! Some of my favourite warbirds, Mustangs, Lightning, Thunderbolt and Corsair. Are they all yours and are they 1/32?

Are the Mustangs made by Academy by any chance? I'm sure I saw an Academy boxing of BBD at Dux last week. Is it a good kit?

many thanks there , the front one is the best I have done yet , looking forward to getting a air brush as only using aerosols and hand brushing at the moment . But each model I do seems to be a bit better than the last ( F105G is on the bench next) :thumb:
