F4 Phantom Model

Post by grayson » Wed Nov 29, 2017 5:35 pm

I haven't built a model since about 1966 and I was always terrible at it. But my nephew has a business making them and I have asked him to make one of my favourite , the F4 . I want something reasonably big - 12-16 inch ideally , and in US livery . Any tips on best model to buy ?

I would suggest 1/48 scale as this fits in nicely with the size restrictions and also gives you plenty of scope with different US marks of F-4.

I always try to use Hasegawa kits for my F-4`s although I have enjoyed the latest Academy versions. Add these to the various after market decals, etch and more, it`s really a case of you picking what you want.
