Avro Anson - RAF Station Hack
Hope this is ok to post here. A friend of mine is looking to build a model of an Avro Anson, dressed up as a post-WW2 station hack – preferably the Coningsby one but is finding it difficult to find any details of colour schemes. He has found some photos on the Air Britain site (abpic.co.uk), but the colours seem faded or otherwise distorted. If anyone has suitable colour photos that might help, could you get in touch with me please and I’ll forward the information on. Many thanks in advance.

Re: Avro Anson - RAF Station Hack
Do you have a serial to help us?
EDIT:- Just found TX176 at the second attempt. White tops, silver(dope) most everywhere else and i cant tell if red or dayglo orange bands/tips. If red, its a bit lighter than roundel red from the photos ive seen. Other station flight aircraft seem to be the same scheme.
Arabest,
Geoff.
