Hi Guys,
Its been a while since I last posted, but here goes my efforts again. This is a Minicraft KC-135, and Roden C-141B Starlifter, both 1/144 scale, and both with the SUPERB Caracal decals.
I hope you like it.

Thanks for the kind comments. I think a lot of modeller have been waiting a long time for the starlifter in 1/144 scale and then Minicraft do a wonderful KC-135. The stratotanker ain't cheap but its worth it.
To top it off caracal do some beautiful decals which just finish things off nicely.
Fingers crossed for rodens C-5 which is rumoured to be coming out, that would be good fly with the 135 or a super conversion with the cargo doors open really excited me. Once again caracal are doing the galaxy decals and the B-52 and B-1, I have a B-52 to do but getting hold of a good B-1 isn't easy.

Outstanding! What were they like to build?
Re: 'Clear Contact' KC-135 & C-141 1/144 scale
Hi fastwalker,
The starlifter needed a bit of work around the cockpit as its blanked out. The rest of the construction was easy enough.
The stratotanker also needed a cockpit. It also needs some work around the windows the side cockpit ones aren't right. Just need to reference pictures with the kit. The detail on the 135 is outstanding, I'd say some of the best work Minicraft have done, however it's expensive. The saying goes you vet what you pay for and this is certainly true for this kit. The engines were so good a fit I left them off the kit until it was totally finished, a perfect fit.
Decals were replaced by the caracal decals which transform them both.
I'd recommend folks to give them a try, perfect size as 1/72 scale is too big and 1/200 is too small.
Thanks for the nice comments from everyone.
