Indian Rafael decision

Post by 22A » Sun Nov 18, 2018 1:24 pm

Just seen on Sky channel 510 (Indian TV news) that an argument has developed over the Rafael.
The IAF have declared they have had no "new generation aircraft since 1985 and the Rafele meets their requirement.
Some politicians have asked for cost and technical details, but the IAF have not released these.
The procurement decision has now passed to India's Supreme Court, so the 36 on order may get cancelled..

I have been waiting for years to hear that the German Airforce had placed an order for this aircraft. The local name could then be " Bitte " :S

There's no "go-round" in a glider.

Rafale, RAF Ale, which could be bitter. ;)

:)
Edit. The origin goes back quite a few years, not long after a brewery in the southeast launched a Spitfire Ale bottled beer I think.
So in addition to not launching myself in a career of photography something else to cross off the list would be a job as a comedian :(

Would that be "Bira 91" or the Free French beer?
