I don't believe it

Post by slogen51 » Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:08 pm

For the second time in as many months I have left my ladder in the forest entrance by accident and it has disappeared

I must have lost it on Friday 2/11.

It is only £29 from B&Q - think I need to fit a blue tooth proximity tag to it :)

Or tie a rope to you and the ladder? That way it reminds you that you may have forgotten something

Probably not gonna help, but if you tie your car keys onto the Ladder you can't leave without it....because the car's gone! ;)

What gets me is that a perfectly serviceable ironing board had been there for weeks!

That Ironing-board has proved useful during the recent deployments, for 'tourists' looking to smooth stuff over with the 'locals'
Also proves it's not any form of transient metal collectors/ Lucky-heather purveyors who are looking after your ladders! ;)

When I was there early last week the rumour was that the number of ladders being left there was causing a significant increase in the presence of snakes, with casual visitors not carrying the dice required to score a double six, and cutting holes in the fence to get away from them....

If you tie your todger to the ladder then that will save your potential problems at both Lakenheath and Tescos.

Maybe this explains the appearance of the perfectly good ironing board :-

I know Lakenheath isn't quite Everest, but everyone has to start somewhere.

I am going to get an indelible marker pen and write my phone number on it.

( Could even help at Tescos)

On what precisely, do you plan to write the number, Slogen51?
