Thunderbirds - The real modern equivelents?

Post by Unknown74 » Fri Sep 21, 2018 5:38 am

Hi everyone, something got me thinking, back in time to The Thunderbirds TV Series and what their modern day real life equivelents would be? So got my thinking cap on and here's my thinking:

THUNDERBIRD 1: either Harrier or F-35 Lightning II
THUNDERBIRD 2: either C-17 Globemaster III or (if it was a prop) A-400M Atlas/ Grizzly etc.
THUNDERBIRD 3: Saturn Space Rocket etc.
THUNDERBIRD 4: The wee submarine thingy.
THUNDERBIRD 5: International Space Station

I know there was a movie made called Thunderbird 6 where it was a Tiger Moth but I was just thinking in line with the main International Rescue Aircraft/ Spaceships.

What does everyone else think?
