Superb film - `stars `of both the B-36 and B-47 segments visited England. 11BW B-36H 51-5734 was one of 17 B-36's which briefly `Post Striked` into Burtonwood in October'56, during a joint 7/11BW Unit Simulated Combat Mission. B-47B 51-2318 was assigned to the 305BW and deployed to Brize Norton during the wings 90-day rotational training there Sep - Dec'53. Oh for a time machine!

Yeah remember the mass B36 invasion at Burtonwood (my local then) in '56. Had a major battle with my dad who wanted to drag us off to Blackpool illuminations. Blackpool was a kids paradise but B36's - no contest .👌🏿

The cockpit mock-up of the B.47 was in March Air Force Museum in 1997. I sat in James Stewart's seat!. :)
