Re: Least favourite aircraft?
Mine has to be the mig 29. It may provide a exciting airshow peace but from a tactical point of view it is absolutely useless.
Re: Least favourite aircraft?
Why on earth did they built it if it's so useless???
Re: Least favourite aircraft?
Have to agree with IanM that the Boeing X32 was an example of 'if it don't look right, it an't right'. Ugliest plane I ever saw. Looked like a frog with a dinner plate in its mouth. Was very releived when it came second in the two-horse race!

Re: Least favourite aircraft?
I don't have a least favourite aircraft. The only thing which I used to dislike was Royal Netherlands Air Force helicopter display team, The Grasshoppers. Now they were boring!

And there's plenty more where that came from!
Re: Least favourite aircraft?
Mine has to be the Alpha Jet slow and boring, and why buy one when you could have bought a Bae Hawk. A321
Re: Least favourite aircraft?
Gazelle and F-27 Friendship. The engine noise is too annoying, a very high pitched whine on both.

Grob Tutor. Most boring aircraft I have ever seen displayed at an airshow.

P8 Poseidon... just looks like any other 737. Or the Phenom 100...it's too squashed up and stubby. Yeuch!

What!
I must be in the wrong hobby
Re: Least favourite aircraft?
I would definitely nominate the F-35 especially the b version. I would like to nominate the name '' ugly duckling'' for them. Why would any designer allow an aircraft to take off with an [ effectively] air brake out.

Re: Least favourite aircraft?
I don't dislike the Hawk, as it's kept me from a number of "Blank" days in the loop.
However, when it's red, part of a nine-ship millstone which is seriously outdated, performing laboriously distant manoeuvres, then I know it's toilet-break time.
And yes, I was overtly involved in their function for 4 years!
