Lost for something to do
17.00 bst Just starting on Film 4 Strategic air Command the old film with all the B-47,s B-36s and James Stewart.
Re: Lost for something to do
Out of interest, the B.47 mock-up cockpit used in the film was at March AFB Museum in California. In 1997, I sat in it. It was the nearest I got to being a bomber pilot!!!.

Thanks for the heads-up, ED
One of my all-time faves
Don't care about the inconsistencies, it just has some g-r-e-a-t filming

The best ever known film footage sequence of a B-36 taking off from Carswell, the genuine article . None of your crappy digital graphics there
Re: Lost for something to do
Missed this due to work but just watched the trailer on You Tube - excellent stuff and a must find! B-36s and B-47s what is not too like
