Unfortunately if you keep poking a Hornets Nest eventually you will get stung.
The guy is making specific threats which if taken at face value are very concerning and if true you can't help but think there will be a reaction.
IMO China and Russia hold the key to calm things down but will they.
As for the the UN,again it proves that their condemnation statements they make after every missle test is a complete waist of time as they never back anything up,this should of been diffused years ago,
The country has just been aloud to continue development of this missle and Nuclear weapon with just a few strong words and sanctions that clearly are not working.
The bloke just does not care about anything other than this missle program.
The NKs are all brainwashed in thinking that having nuclear weapon is the key to the country being prosperous so they are all behind it.

Time to take action. They don't posses the means to be a threat yet. Surgical strikes need to happen now.

Some idiot on Facebook says Trump is just as bad. Yes some people don't like him but at the end if the day, if he retaliates he's only looking after his country and it's people, you can't compare them both.

Although i am not a Trump fan as such but if the country he is president of is being specifically threatened then what would you do.
Nk have been very specific in what they intend to with them I.E attack america.
Most if not all other countries that own Nukes have them as a deterrent but not this guy.

The Americans must have a huge database of intelligence regarding the positioning of North Korea's military assets. Recent U2 flights and satellite images must be quite up to date with exact locations of missile sites etc.
After the recent threat to Guam I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trumpy unleashed a few Tomahawks in a similar style attack to the one that rained down on the al-Shayrat airfield in Syria, just to eliminate the North Korean military assets which pose a threat to Guam. However, having said that I am well aware that North Korea has a huge military force and to suppress it will be no small operation at all!

Now, how would such action be viewed by the international community? Not very well I would guess, and I'd like to think that other avenues would be exhaustively explored first. But, when you're faced with an unpredictable North Korean dictator who's only form of communicating is by issuing repeated threats to the USA then the options on the table are always going to be limited!

Overall a difficult situation, and one that needs to be handled very carefully, but when you're dealing with a loose cannon it could of course go off at any time! .

NK knows that even in one of his wild rages, Trump would do very little if anything to it. Most of NK's critical military assets are stored deep in mountain tunnel complexes which would be hard to destroy with conventional weapons, it already has enough artillery pointing at Seoul to pummel SK's capital at a moment's notice and it has a famished population of millions which the rest of the world would have to immediately support if the NK leadership imploded. Would Russia and China stand by while their ally was attacked by America - I don't think they even know the true answer to that one.

The issue with hitting a few locations in North Korea isn't the problem, the problem is China. i would imagine they would take a very dim view of the U.S dropping a few bombs on its neighbour.

To be fair, China haven't exactly been praising North Korea over the past couple of weeks.

Historically Japan attacked Pearl Harbour for a variety of reasons, one of which was the USA oil embargo. Japan seemed to think that if they grabed enough territory the USA would do a deal.
North Korea, unusually for a Stalinist type communistic country had been ruled by a dynasty since 1945. The Chinnese Government appear to have finally lost patience with Kim's actions: they might now consider him a direct threat to their interests and even themselves. Their recent support of UN sanctions and public comments are unusually direct and pointed. They have moved from green to amber; red would be removing him by a coup. The Chinnese believe that Trump would, as they would respond to his nuclear threats by attacking first. This worries them and they might prefer to act first to keep the USA at bay. We are now also within range, if the rockets are reliable. Have a nice day.

China's challenge will be doing enough peacekeeping to keep the US satisfied. If North and South Korea were to reunify then China would end up with a US ally on one of its borders - the last thing it wants right now.
