Has anyone actually heard any comms from flights from the carrier this past week.
Not seen any logs myself.

AHH.Cocoa Mountain. Best chocolate on the planet.
Dark Island beer in the boozer on the Sango Bay campsite.
That may be of use to anybody venturing to the top of the land to watch.

Any ideas on what the Bush will do after today, is it scheduled to continue flight ops of it's own, if so where or will it set sail for home?

Heading home at a guess, they've been deployed since January.

Was anyone lucky enough to see/photograph it going through the Straights?

It's auxiliary, USNS Supply, is currently east of Margate doing 21 knots heading towards the Straights.

I guess its going to be off Portsmouth later to drop off all the RN Personnel. I understand the C2's are rejoining the ship this evening from MHZ

I would've thought that any British personnel on board will be or have been flown off. Costs a lot of money to stop and start a ship that size, unless it's going to stop for a few days again but I would've thought that any word on that would've been public knowledge by now.

Haven't they already paid for the nuclear fuel, and personnel are there anyway and also being paid? :)

Bit more to it than that though, if it was as easy as a pushing a button then why risk doing replenishment's on the move. Once it's moving they prefer to keep moving.

but they could be helicoptered off abeam Portsmouth without stopping . one of the UH60 has already been in MHZ on a quick turn today. to be fair I expect it to stay south of the IOW.

I'm sure I read someware there were aroud 60 Royal Navy personel in total on the Bush, but that doesn't mean all will leave. Quite a few trips by helicopter though if it was. :thumb:
