Sounds like it could be a good day out, but what does it all entail? Anyone been before?

Cheers

Should be the same as last time

Start time around 6pm until 10pm
Two of three jets on the main ASP, different load outs
Access fairly close to the hot pit
Tour around Tornado outside the HAS complex
Tour of the gate guards (Tornado , Victor , Canberra)
Possible visitors, if they aren't retasked like last time

Money goes to the squadron / stations charities. Also part went to the families day fund
Posh are going to Wembley (albeit for a tin cup)

Am I right in saying that Pinky is scheduled for RTP in August? If so - and assuming it's available for this event - would this be one of the last chances to catch it up close?

I have emailed twice now and had no reply. I have checked and double checked and also looked at my spam folder....nothing.

When did you email? They were having issues until at least Wednesday, might be worth trying for a third time

I had an email on Friday stating that they had already reached their maximum and that I had been added to their reserve list which appears to have about twenty names on it. I'm not holding out much hope. :(

I emailed on the 14th and 16th with no luck. I suspect that those that will be invited know by now. I guess that until you are told otherwise there is still hope, however faint. Fingers crossed for you.

Same here chief. I was busy at work and forgot to check whether the email server was back working. When I finally checked FB I seen a post from 7 hours previous saying the email were now working. :@

I know on another forum that people are moaning about the cost. But considering that times nearly up for the Tornados, a chance to photo them in an operational environment, I don't think it's too much.

I totally agree on both counts. I've seen some of the moans and while I understand that it may be unaffordable for some, I'm not sure what the comments add. I don't think it will change anything as its already a sell out. Time is running out to catch the Tonka's in their natural habitat and I would really have liked to see them at Marham. Its a shame, but what can you do only shrug your shoulders and be ready to react when the next one comes around.
