It may not be huge but its still a big lump to move by road and indeed ferry. Any updates to transport routes and dates appreciated as it will be a site to see 'on the road'

Does the French have an equivalent to the RAF crash and smash and will they be involved, big job to reconstruct the IV at Elvington hope they get all the 'official' help they need.

Has this Mirage IV actually arrived in the UK yet, or are there transport (or other) problems? Any information very welcome.

The Mirage is due to leave storage today according to the news and finally start the journey to Elvington. Wouldn't mind knowing the routes they are taking and times etc

Anybody got an update on progress? Although I live on the route & know many photogenic locations for a shot, an iconic Mirage IV in clingfilm (in drizzle!) didn't break my bond with my chair! :D
