You can clearly see a A10 but look above it

Fine, you can see something above an A10, but you must ask yourself why is the A10 blurred (possibly due to heat haze and/or further away than object), whilst the object is in focus with shine on the left hand edge of the object.

Shame you can't you see any shadows on the A10 or the ground!?!?! Cynical me :halo:

During all the decades of UFO sightings, close encounters etc etc there is still not one decent crisp clear photograph that really conclusively identifies an object as an unknown craft. They are always blurred fuzzy distant images.

Admittedly some encounters which have occurred cannot be discredited at all, and will always remain a mystery, such as the Rendlesham incident. It's pretty clear that something definitely occurred there in December 1980, but its very unlikely that there will ever be any 100% concrete explanation of what happened.

In this day and age of digital technology you'd expect any UFO photographs to be clear crisp images, but on the other hand that same technology is easily capable of creating false images, so we're really no better off!

In the mid 1980's myself, my Dad & two neighbours observed a formation of five orange lights in the sky which were arranged like the 5 on a dice. This was observed against a clear starry winters night. The lights stood static in the sky for 30 mins and then slowly moved off North Eastwards, remaining in formation. It was unsettling because we didn't know what it was, but still to this day we have no idea of what it was, and it will forever remain that way.

There is certainly some strange stuff out there!

TankBuster.
And there's plenty more where that came from!

My late father used to work at RAE Farnborough & told me about some people had seen a UFO over the site.

Maybe SHADO should be informed http://ufoseries.com/

I say it's fake, its like I've always said how can aliens build a UFO? They need metal and all the technology to be able to fly it,none of that just floats in space,i dont believe in aliens either to be honest.

Wat? Some other kind of life won't be floating amongst the dust hoping to fall into a handily parked spaceship with directions to Earth. It'll be like us, on a planet full of metal or other materials. Additionally... a small percentage of meteorites found on earth are composed of iron, so actually there is metal floating about in space.

Nope because the contract was cancelled and so Hybrid Air Vehicles brought it back here in Cardington from Joint Base Lakehurst-McGuire-Dix. It has been assigned a G Reg , just a lot of work certifying it and preparing for its flight. It came back across the Atlantic on container ship in 15 or 20 container trucks.

It's still in their big hangar and intended to fly at some point this year

Astronomers estimate that there could be somewhere between 100-200 billion galaxies in the observable universe! Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is absolutely huge and our solar system within that galaxy is just a small dot. There could even be other solar systems within the Milky Way that we don't even know exist.
So, when considering that there are possibly 100-200 billion other galaxies out there, it is more probable than not that life does exist elsewhere in the universe.

As for UFO's visiting here from other worlds, who knows? Our existence may only be known by us?
It really is mind boggling stuff! Where does space end, or does it just go on and on, or is space itself part of something bigger?
It can really screw your mind up if you think about it too much :'(.

I'm not bothered if it's a UFO or not, just so long as it's not flying an IS flag!

I think time is the answer. We must assume that there are an almost infinite number of civilisations like us around the universe, however, time is the challenge:

earth formed 4.6b years ago
life on land 500m years ago (so if someone visited us in the preceding 4b years, they wouldn't have seen much)
dinosaurs 250m years ago
humans 200,000 years ago (so a visit in the preceding 249.8m years wouldn't have seen much)
human civilisation 5,000 years ago (prior to this, there would be no record)
humans capable of flight 100 years
humans capable of space travel 50 years

So in the future, when we will be able to visit another planet, or another galaxy? How long after that will it be before we destroy ourselves, or we are destroyed by an external factor? If we give ourselves another 2000 years before we kill each other (there is a theory that civilisation can only get so advanced before it self-destructs) this only gives a tiny window of opportunity to travel elsewhere.
I would wager that the window of opportunity is so tiny (in the context of the age of the solar system) that it is highly unlikely that our lifetime will happen to coincide with a visit from elsewhere - think of the percentages, and the chance of overlap. What proportion of time is your 75 years or so, and what is the chance of this coinciding with another race to have the ability, the will, and the luck to find us?

My summary is that I think it is certain that there are other civilisations, but we'll never get to meet them because of the tiny window of opportunity......

I have a feeling this is called the Fermi Paradox, but could be wrong.
