None whatsoever, never heard any reason given on the scanner. Was out at the airport when they flew through, heading back to Lossie.Typhoon on the left of the formation gave a nice wing waggle, presumably for Tower.

Any idea of an ID for the other Typhoon? I can see from previous post that ZK369 was one but was wondering about the other? By the way as you say nice wing waggle pilot must have been enjoying himself.

Was just thinking with only 1 Flypast left due its a shame that due to various reasons that we.havent has any interesting Formations similar/ like with RIAT or the London RAF100 Flypast. Mind you it was good we got 3 two ship flights.

Further to my previous posts - sorry to post so many times - but I was wondering wether anyone could confirm both serials from the Typhoons on Thursdays Flypast if possible please?

Cannon 31 was ZK369 according to ADS-B and have seen some reports that Cannon 32 was ZJ913 however that's unconfirmed

Cheers for that so unless I hear different from elsewhere I will log both serials in my spotters log.

Thank you so much, it is appreciated.

What? Neither serial has been confirmed by anyone with the Mark 1 eyeball and they could have easily swapped boxes between aircraft before the flypast, so you really have no idea which airframes were involved!

I suppose every spotter has their own rules but ADSB info cannot be 100% trusted (which has been proved hundreds of times on here), so I think your rules are a bit "odd".

Sorry I don’t have ASDB and have no intention of having it. Ok so the IDs haven’t been confirmed so I will write them in pencil until I ever do find out if correct. I am prepared to chance it.

By the way does anyone happen to know wether FlightRadar24 have an option for Military Aircraft? I always wondered wether they did as it would help on occasions like this for example.

Can I just say that a "wether" is a castrated ram (a male sheep) or a castrated billy (a male goat), I think you mean "whether"!

Very, very few military aircraft appear on FR24, try https://www.adsbexchange.com/ instead, the coverage over Scotland is terrible due to the lack of people feeding the site, though.

ADSB is free on the web but better to pay for 360radar as the coverage is far better but I suppose as you're just guessing the serials you don't really need anything other than a brass neck. :S

Cheers for correcting my spelling Mike, that’s one word I never do get right to be honest.

Think I’ll stick to Flightradar24 even without Military.

Think I’ll leave it there. Bye.

Those tail numbers are correct! If anyone had any videos or pictures of Thursday’s flypast they would be much appreciated

Thanks for confirming LossieLightHouse very much appreciated.

Just had to reply.

Unfortunately I can't provide either film or photographs of Thursday's Flypast but maybe someone can?

It is indeed Vandal, watching it circle over the bass rock as we speak. Viewing from Arthur’s seat.

Headed north through Fife then back out over the North Sea.
